Gordon purchased this property in cash as a Coming Soon listing. He then rented the house back to the seller for a month. His goal was to spend less than 20k to rehab, with the goal to rent the property at $1600/month by September, 2021.
The focus of this renovation was on cosmetic updates for a more modern appeal. Gordon had the entire house painted, including the stair railings and panels. He also exposed a section of brick in the living room for a true Philly experience. Light fixtures and door handles were replaced. The kitchen cabinets were also painted with the hardware replaced. Upstairs, the bathroom required the most renovations with new flooring, tile, tub and vanity.
